bullet  Events

• Occupation: Grahamstown South Africa. 6 7 He worked with the London Mission Society in Grahamstown South Africa

• Occupation. 3 Samuel was at first not thought to be strong enough for a missionary career and settled for a brief ministry in England after also qualifying at New College, London.
But the call for Africa was too strong and he returned to work for many years in Grahamstown, and then at Great Brak River from 1921 to 1925 and finally at Pniel where he lies buried.
Note: There is a slight anomaly here in that a previous source said he died in George, where one could assume he was also buried.

• Alt Birth. 8 According to this Cemetery Recording he died in George on the22 Dec 1925, and that he was from Gheht, Priel, Great Brak River.

• Alt Name. the DN in KAB MOOC 6/9/143 Ref 9304 gives his middle name as Joseph.
