With brother David - 1891 took up lands near Beresford, Manitoba. 1902 moved to 10 miles north of Battleford. (SE4-45-16) Farmed till 1906 and revisited Scotland. On his return to Canada became a grain buyer. WW1 Died of pneumonia in Training camp, Brockville, Canada. Wife Elizabeth was on a ship to visit Scotland at the time. Returned immediately.
