• Family. ² From an e-mail dated 05 May 2008. from Deborah Sutton:- "I believe my grandfather was from Edinburgh and my grandmother Johanna Potts was from a large family, 9 or 10 children, near Dunbar. Her father was a games keeper on a large estate. I have a picture of her with a large farm horse. I remember her telling me, the few times she came to visit, that she lost a couple of brothers in the Boer war, and for a long time I thought that was our connection to South Africa."

John married Johanna POTTS. (Johanna POTTS died in Apr 1983 ².)
